Brazil is increasingly becoming one of Southeast Asia’s major partners in foreign trade!

As of 2022, Brazilian exports to Singapore surpass those to Germany. Malaysia is more important as a destination of Brazilian exports than Italy. Thailand has become more relevant to Brazil’s exports than France. Meanwhile, Vietnam became more relevant than Switzerland as a commercial partner with Brazil. Indonesia imports more products from Brazil than Portugal does. Brazil shipped $280.8 billion worth of goods around the globe in 2021, supplying products to over 215 partnering countries, islands or territories – and Asian countries consumed 51.9% of Brazil’s exports!
